Thredbo has become a year-round destination for all sorts of adventurers and holiday-makers. Whether the snow is falling, or the sun is shining, there are so many activities on offer, making our community a wonderful place to live, work, and play.

However, there are improvements that could be made to ensure our unique alpine village  retains its welcoming character and remains a source of inspiration for generations to come…It’s time to let all Australians in on the secret that life at altitude is clearer and brighter!

One Thredbo envisions an alpine village community where locals and visitors alike feel a sense of ongoing belonging and connection, not just through immersion in our natural surroundings, but through creative, tactile, cultural experiences that are reshared through conversations and linger on in our imaginations.

The mission of One Thredbo is simple: to create a more vibrant and engaged community that attracts new visitors, by keeping Thredbo’s history alive through visual displays and storytelling, and by funding arts and cultural events. 

But we can’t achieve this alone.

We need people who love Thredbo as we do, and see its potential, to invest their time, talents and finances in order to see One Thredbo’s mission and vision come to fruition.
